Segment Manager (IT Health Care - Ultrasound)

Role Summary/Purpose Based in Dubai, this role will define and execute the strategy for the segment across Middle east, Africa, Turkey and Central Asia. The successful incumbent will lead pricing mechanisms and help drive sales performance while coordinating promotional activities and supporting specialist salespeople with expertise and training. Essential Responsibilities • Leading Go to Market Strategy for the segment in coordination with EMEA Segment Leader and sales team • Driving achievement of Top Line Revenue as well as SM for the segment as defined in the OP • Providing support for bigger deals • Setting appropriate pricing per product to ensure optimum margin/volume mix • Running an efficient Luminary Program to establish clinical speakers and clinical papers • Coordinating promotional activities such as exhibitions, seminars, user group meetings, campaigns and new product launches. Providing support for bigger deals • Establishing communication channels for sales and applications people • Deploying selling tools, training delivery and education materials • Developing the Emerging markets in the region like Regional Anesthesia, Rheumatology, Physiotherapy, ICU, Emergency room Qualifications/Requirements • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience • 5+ years professional experience in B-to-B and or B-to-C marketing and/or product management • High Level of Ultrasound Product and Industry Knowledge • Very strong people management, leadership, coaching and team building abilities • Experience in understanding customer needs and business drivers and using this knowledge to develop sales • Capacity to establish strong relationships with Luminaries • High level of negotiation and problem solving skills • Strong results-orientation, commercial acumen and customer centric mindset • Excellent communication skills on all organizational levels, ability to influence and coach • Presentation and training skills, Enthusiastic, energetic, proactive, English – working knowledge Desired Characteristics • Marketing expertise , Industry experience, Sales experience’, Commercial negotiation skills, People management experience, Arabic Language, French Language
