1. What level of positions does IMC handle?
IMC being an executive search firm, only handles middle and senior management Positions for its clients. Thus, potential candidates only in the current role of the specified management level will be registered onto the IMC Database.

2. My Industry and Designation is not listed with IMC. Why?
IMC is a specialized executive search firm. Therefore we do not service all industry requirements at this point in time.

3. Are these advertised vacancies are currently handled only by IMC?
Due to client confidentiality and discretion to be maintained, not all vacancies are currently advertised.

4. When do I expect to hear from IMC once I have registered?
Once you have registered, your profile is screened and matched for any current openings. If your profile does not match any of our search assignments. Your profile is then entered automatically into our database for future openings with our clients.

5. I have applied for a specific advertised position, when do I expect to hear from IMC?
Our search process is usually 3-4 weeks. If you do not hear from us in the next 4 weeks from the date of your application. Unfortunately your profile has not been short listed for the applied position. Your profile will still be maintained on our database.

6. If there is an advertised/ non-advertised position that matches my profile will I be informed?
Yes. When we run a preliminary database search, profiles are short-listed. We then get in touch with the short listed candidates either for telephonic or face-to-face interviews.

7. Will my profile be made available to potential clients?
No. We operate as an executive search firm our database is not available to any client search. Our online database is only for IMC’s internal use.

8. Will my profile be sent to any client without my consent?
No. All profiles that are sent to client have to be screened, assessed and interviewed by consultants. Hence, no resume is sent to our clients without the candidate interaction. This is a general policy of search firms.

9. Once registered do I have to see or speak to a consultant?
Once you have registered, your profile is made available to all consultants of IMC. If there is an opening available that matches your profile, you will be called in by the relevant consultant for an interview. If there is no opening available immediately, you will the be called as an when an opportunity is available.

10. Do I get any regular updates of opportunities that match my profile?
Because we do not function as an online recruitment site, we do not inform candidates individually to apply for a certain position. Rather opportunities that our consultants feel match our client vacancy; we get in direct contact with the candidate.
